Can I completely take the from page (like the demo has) and change it, so it's basically, nothing like the forum outlook, but you'd have to click on my 'Tabs' like you have here, but the forums WONT show, until the tab is clicked?

In the Creation page (creating an account) there is a spot for a 'referral' - Is there a way to track them, so I can add Karma to them, when they get referrals? Any way to have it automatically update once they hit a certain number of Referrals?

Is there a feature, to 'Archive' your topics, once no one post's in them for X amount of time?

I think this package has everything I want, but if I want to make sure it's everything I need, or can add what I need to, to it.

I'll post more questions in here as they come up (forgot them now I'm making a topic, Murphy's Law)

Thanks in advance!

Can I transfer the current topics/posts/boards to this forum? Can I transfer the members, on my previous forum?

1. Yes
2. There maybe a modification available to do this, though it is not a default feature
3. Same as #2
4. You can use ImpEx for this, you can find information about it in the manual: ImpEx Import System (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/impex)

Thanks I really appreciate the help.

Can we keep this topic open for a few more days, in case i come up with some more questions. I have some, but they've temporarily eluded me..

I just wanted to say I love the community, and I appreciate the help.

We never close topics if nobody replies for some time. ;)

About the 'Archive', what is exactly your expectation of such a feature?

You would just make it so that the forum didn't display on the index, and then create tabs at the top in a template that link to said forum.

Not by default, but various modifications (such as vB Credits and maybe Experience) give you points for referring people to your forum when installed, and likely update once a certain number of referrals are reached.

Not by default, because the current archive is a lite view (as is the archive type features for other software types), but modifications such as this one for 3.5 can do that exact job automatically:

And for 3.7, you could use this mod:

with this mod:

vBulletin should be perfect, especially with what I suggested.

Impex can transfer posts/topics/boards from a very wide range of other types of forum software to vBulletin, and you can even ask over at vBulletin.com with help converting said forum to vBulletin.
