Problems with favicon

Ive uploaded my 'new' favicon to my root..

As my site loads up the image flashes and then reverts back to the small blank page..

Plus in my bookmark manager the vbulletin gif is still there.. how can that be if i have changed and uploaded a new favicon.ico..

Any help grateful :D

I had the same problem when I first uploaded my favicon. The explanation that I found was that your browser has cached the original (vbulletin) favicon. Eventually, yours should start to show up. Mine did.

yup, try with a different browser, or on another machine..
