Using a conditional to color last poster username?

Is there a way I could use a last post conditional to color the username of the last poster showing on forumhome?

When an administrator posts in any forum I'd like for our username to be colored orange (same as legend) on the last post. Example:

I looked at this once, I think, and I couldn't really find a viable/easy way of doing it.

So a hack would probably end up being needed to do this i guess.
