Hi, everyone.
First off, I want to thank everyone here for even letting us post requests for unpaid modifications. It is extremely generous of all of you who indulge the requesters and I'd be endlessly thankful to anyone would indulge me as well, as this mod would come in extremely useful to my forum.
The idea is "Poll of the Day/Week/Month". In other words, poll on forumhome, and only on forumhome. The main poll of the forum.
Basically, a mod whose configuration options would appear in the vBulletin Options in ACP as usual, and with a var to place where we want the poll to appear in the forumhome template.
It would be great if the poll would look like any other vBulletin poll and if it had the same options.
It would also be good if only the administrators would be allowed to change it. That is, to ask a new question. Also, if there would be usergroup-based vote permissions that administrators could set and the option to disallow specific users to either view or vote in polls by entering their user IDs, it would be very good.
Of course, the "day/week/month" is just an example, we could change the question anytime. Of course, it would be great if the archive of all the polls would be kept and accessed by the users very easily.
Well, that's all I have for now, but I'm sure there are lots of other interesting ideas that could be thrown into this.
Of course, if there already is such a mod here, please direct me to it. I haven't been able to find anything, especially not for 3.7 (the one I use) or 3.6.
