Avatar Problem for new users

Hello every 1

its been a while that new users whom uses special characters like : ~ or * in their usernames cant have an avatar.

this is when i login to the admin CP and search for the user i can see their avatar in the admin area but on the forum it dose not show.

any help would be very much appreciated.

Everybody on the page you linked to have avatars and they are showing up?

yes that because i changed their username in to which has no especial avatars as i have not received a solution yet

Well, you changed it before anyone could look at it to see what the problem was.

edit: plus i have waited a few days but got no reply so i had to change them
