auto add new users as friends?

i requested this a long time ago, but cant find the mod and the person who did it, but i think they had a problem with it, so ima ask again.....


idea is to have a new user be automatically added to a userid friends list when joined, same as myspace when you register on there you have Tom as your friend instantly.
