Hi can anyone help me with this. On my forum when people try to register it asks for you to tick a box to agree, but even when people tick the box its is saying they have decided to to agree. Any ideas how to fix this

If you create a new style with no parent (Admin CP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style) and set that to default and register using it, do you still have the same problem?

I just went to the site in your sig - http://www.channelislandsforum.co.uk/ and hit Registration and did not tick the Agree box and got "You have chosen not to accept the forum rules, so registration cannot continue.

Click here (http://www.channelislandsforum.co.uk/) to return to the main forums page, or click the 'Back' button on your browser if you now want to agree with the forum rules."

Have you made any modifications to the register.php page? Perhaps try reuploading that. Also, try turning off your plugins and see if that fixes the problem.

Did you disable them in your config.php file or from the admin cp? Try disabling from the config.php and using the default vbstyle and see what happens.

See: Help! I've broken my board! (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/disable_plugins) for a way to quickly disable all modifications.

After disabling your modifications, test again. If it still does not work, create a new style with no parent style and with your modifications still disabled test again.

Finally, reupload all non-image vBulletin files and test again with the default style and modifications disabled.

Have you checked your site error_logs? This is beginning to sound like a server issue.

The logs are usually located on your server in the folder "/home/yoursitename/logs" You cannot get to them via your admincp.

Ok i had a look at the log and had a few errors there from 2 weeks ago, i think that was when i was updating one of my mods, this problem only started 2 days ago, but im a bit puzzled as i did'nt do anything.

You don't have permission to access /register.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
