I have searched and found stuff for adsense and found banner ad plugins like phpAdsNew Banner Ads that apparently no longer work as phpAdsNew has now morphed into OpenX.

Can someone please point me to a vB ad manager that can do the following in vB version 3.5.4

Something that displays an ad after the first post in a thread in a box that looks like the post boxes. As I understand it so far the code to call the ad would be put into postbit template?

The ad can be a text link with a description or a banner image or adsense code. Not just a banner image or just adsense code.

When activated the ads would rotate.

Any other features like stats etc would be great but not essential.

TIA for help

OpenX is awesome, but what's wrong with "ad manager" ?

Hi there,

Do either of you use OpenX in your vB forums? I am trying to use OpenX 2.6 with my vB 3.6.8 forums. I having problem in generating invocation code required to serve the banners.

Please any help, I can provide more details.

In openx you can get a revoke javascript code. Be sure it is javascript and not php or other variants. This javascript code you can put in any of your templates like ad_navbar_below or also include this javascript code into your notices.

If you do not need to count impressions (for selling on cpm) I would not use openx. Instead I just would change vbulletin templates to include ads.

Hello ThorstenA,

I just replied to you in the other thread. Issue I'm facing is, the banner type for invocation code is empty and hence I am not able to choose 'javascript' tag.

Can you tell me where I can get revoke javascript code, if you are referring to something else?
Thanks.
