Ford Escort Club - forum for escort owners to discuss modifications and general repairs.
The forums a fairly standard vBulletin skin, no major changes, just a CSS change and edited the footer slightly. The header needs a little more work to it to blend into the black background.
Thought I'd show you all, any comments and suggestions welcome.
Cheers :)

Maybe you should add more forums.. Also keep announcements and things in a differnt section like a section called Fordescortclub and list things under there. As it's important.... good skin
good luck..

Cheers.
I dont want to add to many boards yet as we only have a handful of regular members at the moment, if we had more boards they would only have 1 or 2 posts in.
I think 1st impressions count alot and if the boards which are there are full of posts, people are more likely to join than say a half empty forum.
When we have more regular posters we will be extending the number of forums

Just finished redesigning the ford escort club forum, I've given it a more in your face modern header.
Feedback so far as been positive, although I would appreciate any feedback from vb.org members. :D

Liking the style and the header looks really good, i think it would look better though if the forum was split into different categories rather than having it all in one, example:
---------ford escort forums--------
announcements
new members
members cars
off topic
---------technical------------
projects
mechanical
electrical
alloys
ice
etc, this breaks the forum up a bit rather than have it as one section.

I thought about that, although we was trying to keep the board numbers to a minimum, none of us are keen to have a large amount of boards where you have to scroll down the page for 5mins.
We're actually thinking of removing some or making them sub forums to get it smaller, don't think we will need to section things off then.
Thanks.
