Need promotion based on time zone or profile

Since all of my spammers enter 1 in one of my additional profile fields and a Bejing timezone, I'd like to promote them directly into the banned usergroup.

I've been monitoring new users and whenever I receive a new user email notice followed by a security token error message, I know it's a spammer.

With a promotion, I could just sit back.

My other thought was to have a conditional statement in the header to redirect anyone with a 1 in their additional profile and redirect them somewhere off the site or log them out.

There is a modification available that will assign a usergroup to new members based on a profile field. This might do just what you need.

Seems all my spammers use enter the same information in profile fields.
Based on the info entered, I'd like to send them right into the banned usergroup.
