How do i get the most ever online working?

My most ever online aint worked for god knows how long, it looks like this

Most users ever online was 1, 01-01-1970 at 01:00 AM.

Any ideas please?

Hi calorie, thanks for the pointers, i followed a few things on link #2 and looks
to be resolved for now, turns out i still had a file on the modules folder called
onlineusers.php and it was this causing the issue...
