Capping Reputation

My board has gotten out fo control with users receiving 100,000+ Rep points. I would like to cap it at 5,000. Can any nice VB haxorz help me out please? I think this would benefit other users as well and should really be stock in Vbulletin.

Hmm...Could someone maybe point me in the right direction for doing this mod myself? I can see from searching here that many would find is useful.
