You have waaaay to man forums for a new starting forum.

Start with limited amounts of forums, and add them as you go so your site always looks populated with content rather then empty forums.

Firstly, go into the admincp >> vboptions >> Turn your vbulletin online/offline, click edit and switch off your forum untill you have thought about what you want to accomplish in building a community.

If your not sure what you want your site is certainly doomed for failure. Too many forums for such a new site and I would stroongly suggest in either downloading a style from the vbulletin.org database or opting for a commercial based style.

Thanks for the feedback, I am in the process in buying a commercial skin.

I am not expert myself...just getting started with vBulletin, but I have run a few phpbb boards in the past. So I guess you would say I am a rookie with vb, but experience with bb's in general.

I would start with fewer forums, as the other people mentioned. Maybe group all the movies together and then as the thread count rises, add the different categories and move the posts to the appropriate forum. Yes it would take some work on your part, but it would make your board look "busier" in the mean time.
