Ok.. ive sussed this out

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1384401&postcount=1

I have managed to make a user profile field appear under my user title..

eg.

Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> ? ? -> Postbit Templates -> postbit or postbit_legacy (depending on which layout you use)

Find this..
<if condition="$post['usertitle']"><div class="smallfont">$post[usertitle]</div></if>

add this..
<if condition="$post['fieldX']">
Gender: $post[fieldX]

</if>

fill the "x" with your profile field number, replace the word gender to your need

What i need to know is, I need a space before this text appears and the font to be smaller and in italics..

I presume i would change the font and italics in the profile field javascript.. but could do with the exact code so i dont mess it up..

Thanks in advance.. :D

Place &nbsp; where you want the space.

Place <i><font size="X"> BEFORE the text that you want to be small and italics.
Replace X with the font size you want.

Place </font></i> AFTER the text that you want to be small and italics.

Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Postbit Templates -> postbit or postbit_legacy (depending on which layout you use)

Place &nbsp; where you want the space to appear.

Don't use font tags, use a class like "option_name" and an entry in the CSS. Then use:

[your option_name] {
font-size: [whatever];
font-style: italic;
}

You'd then put <span class="[your option name]> before the <if> code and </span> after the if code, or just inside of it.
