Currently there is no way to count point for old post because it will need a lot of CPU to run. But if you really want that feature I would add it into next version

1), Is it possible that each usergroup can have its own credit gain settings? So you can change how much each usergroup will gain credits..

Example: Usergroup A gets 10 credits per post while Usergroup B gets 7 credits per post.

2), Is it also possible that you can have 1 item that only changes the username, and when wanting to activate it, it'll request an admin for approval of the username change. Once approved, the name changes.

3), I was also wondering if you could add a way for buying to get in to usergroups. But still lets the leader of the group choose to let him in the usergroup once paid, or still needs to be accepted.

Per forum should stick around in my opinion as this is quite a handy feature! Maybe a way to select which usergroups to effect? Or select how much points they get through each forums through the kbank settings?

Thanks. The reason why I asked about it is because a lot of people wish to have a name change. So my thought were, they can buy a name change and set a name that they wish to have. Once they did that, an admin gets notified about the name change and he / she can just approve the name change and it'll be instantly changed :).

You should know that no manual template edit is required in vb3.7.x
If you are using 3.6.x, you can find $vbphrase[calendar] in navbar and $vboptions['usereferrer'] in MEMBERINFO... If you don't know what to do, you can send me your navbar and MEMBERINFO template via PM or email

I think I have a bug or maybe just my forum or maybe have been reported already.
If I create an item with unlimited quantity or limited quantity, and then buy it. I then sell it, it does not count the quantity of that item. It is just blank. I did some test, and found out that $item[count] and $item[count_str] of that item is equal to nothing.

Can someone test this out? Or is it just me?

You can change amount of point member get when post new thread/post in Forum Managers, edit option for each forum

I do not know why, but from the list of richest members, the money is quite big and I wonder where is it from.

Sometimes you can see the illegal donations and it should be deleted. I suggest this mod should have this function, it will be perfect.

Maybe you have seen money calculated from items not cash :D
Delete donating log is illegal (related to tax) so if you find illegal donation, you can return money or give money away :D

You can use boobie feature of vbookie (search in vBB.org please). After installing vbookie, you use vbookie support plugin in kBank :D

Any number of members of 20 members must be able to buy the item directly and use it for them for example bold username - member can have bold username from the time he/she buys the item.


In top users list it shows +2, -1 , New ?? What's this and how does this work ?

The lastest version of vbookie is for 3.5.x but it work fine with 3.7 ;)
To triple the points, kBank has a special option in AdminCP: go to AdminCP > kBank > Edit Settings > Adjustment > Enter something like "*3". Done :D

You can't set the usergroup to award money from his account. Member can thank to other ;)

If you rename your admincp folder to something else, it will make those tool work incorrect. Try to copy all files in admincp folder (in the installation archive) to that folder (the new admincp folder)

If I want EVERYONE on my Forum to be effected and included with kBank, should I just set the Member GroupID to my Regular Members GroupID and leave "Normal Member" blank? One last, Company and Bank, what happens with the Company Group and the Bank; can I set one to myself (Admin's Group) then...

1st question: Bank Rupted Group is some kind of Banned Group. You should remove some permission from that group or you can set Banned Group as Bank Rupted Group
2nd question: You should enter all usergroupid of your member/mod/trial mod/smod/admin group in "Member GroupID(s)" and you should enter usergroupid of Registered Users (the default one) in "Normal Member GroupID"
3rd question: Bank Group is not used now. Company Group is usergroup that special permission like companies can sell item as expensive as they want, no donate fee,etc

You can run user title update from AdminCP if those moderators' real usergroup is different from Bank Rupted Group. You really should put the usergroupid of Registered Usergroup in "Normal Member GroupID"

2. I don't understand what you are talking about. More detail please? :D
3. Yes (now you can search with the form in the bottom of the page)
4. Do you use any url rewrite plugin? Ajax functions should work well (I think :P)

5) I had deleted some test auction items after the auction ended, and now the kBank sponsored notification keeps showing up stating there are active/completed auctions where there are none. Now I know not to delete completed auctions. Any advice on how I can get rid of those old notices?

Please make sure your userid is 1. You can easily find out by going to member.php?u=1, if it is you so your userid is 1. If it is not you, you can click your username in navbar, it should be your profile page. Or you can post a post and click your username in your post

@King Fly: It's seem that there is some problem with the installer (the error told that 1 of kBank's table is missing). You can disable plugin system by editing your global.php in your root folder. Find this line:
define('VB_AREA', 'Forum');
Insert this line after that one:
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Now you can access your forum and disable/uninstall kBank (or you can try to reinstall it again). Good luck :D

Which version of vBB you are using? In most case, kBank navbar button and popup menu will be added automatically

Currently only English version is available. I don't really understand your questions but you can use any currency you want instead of default (DM, ? is ok). Presents (items) can be limited by days or not

Oh, I encountered new problem. When a user change his username, the username only effect on post view but not under the thread Starter view/Thread view. Also, when you are in the post and click on that username, it will show "Send private message to ORIGINAL NAME" instead of new display name.

We can make the name change globally but when user change customized username, the username that show in starter will not be updated immediately. So... I decided not to change them and I'm still looking for a method that can solve the problem

Please do make them change globally. The users can wait until the board updated for the change to take effect. I have a very good server so my update time is shorter ^^

Sorry, I don't understand your question. Looking at your attach images doesn't help at all :D Can you give me more detail?

After i installed your addon the dropdown arrows moved to the left. Looks kinda strange. They should be on the right side of the text.

The arrow on the left of the logout button (abmelden) should be on the right side of the the quick links (Nützliche Links).

I hope you understand what i mean.

To do it, you can run a query like that

UPDATE forum
SET kbank_perreply = 1, kbank_perthread = 1

You may need to replace "forum" with your table name (include prefix before "forum")

You are using 2.0.1 version. Please download the 2.1 version and try again ;)
Anyway, you get that warning message because you don't have any itemtype. Just create one and you can continue

How can I change the ammount of points a user gets per thread created and per reply? I run a design forum and I want people to accrue points that can be used towards purchasing a design. Like I want people to get 0.05 cents for new thread created, and 0.02 for replying to a thread. I want it to be like a dollar system. So I want it to be set up in like decimals. Like people could get like 1.02 dollars, etc... Is there anyway I could use this hack just for points? I don't want any awards or anything.

It's not an error, it works the way it was designed
When user place bid, he will have to pay an amount (percent of bid, config in AdminCP). After the bidding deadline, the item will be reserved for the highest bidder for 24h (configable in AdminCP) and after that, everybody can buy that item. For user who place too high bid, you can move them out of Company Group

Do NOT use username in Manufactures fields. You just need to place the userid of them (you can add multiple manufactures by separating userids with commas). Please try again ;)
