installed?

I've have just join vbb.org community and i want to be a VBB coder / designer, but everytime i release my Hack i see an Install field in my post and i know it show me how many people use my hack and vote for me, but i don't know what i get when the number of Install is a big number? Or nothing to get?
I view my profile and it show me:
Total Releases: 4, Total Installs: 23
Can anyone tell me what Install number mean? :(

First of all, i have no clue what vbb.org or a VBB coder is. ;)

The install count shows how many members have clicked "Installed" on the modifications/styles you have released. There is nothing to gain with a higher number.

this is not a rank, but simply a title, a tag... like we identify the pigs before we make bacon or spareribs...

Installs don't quite show how many people use it, just those that mark it as such, so it's probably best to go off some number between the download and install count instead. As for what you get, I think that might be a factor which says whether you're a level 1 coder or designer or a level 10 coder and designer etc:
