news/article system?

I'm looking for a news article system that i can prefferably integrate with VB

i dont really want a big CMS that offers loads of crap... i just want my members to be able to post news on the main page (after i have approved it)

are there any scripts that integrate with vb.. if not, are there any other reccomendations..

if there was something light weight i could strip the auth out and use my own vbulletin auth script.

wordpress seem's to offer what i want... there is a bridge for vbulletin too. i'm going to check it out. i'll post my views on it for you.

its actually a full featured blogging system and is quite difficult to fit into other designs...

i'm after something lightweight...

Well, I programmed my own.

Basically the forum is where articles are posted and reviewed. When a moderator ok's it, it goes into the homepage category that it was posted in. The front page also shows the latest article and comments (replies to the thread).
