So I tried the send email to all users option, but it doesn't seem to support html. Is there any way to insert links into this email?

I don't think so...

Search "HTML Newsletter" "All Mods" "Titles Only" in the box in top right of the screen. There are a few modifications available.

This mod requires file edits.. but is the simplest of all. It works perfect !!
