I think I did everything right i uploaded staff.php to my root and uploaded product and put link in the navbar. But when I go to see it, it says I don't have permission to see it, did I do anything wrong?

I have some issues. It looks like the creator of this hack does not drop in anymore so I am hoping some one can answer my questions.

Some of my admins do not use avatars so I get a broken image displaying for my admins that do have avatars.

How do I stop broken images from displaying for users that do not have avatars?

Also if someone can answer this question then the first one will not matter.

I want to use switch the avatar with the profile picture and jsut use the profile pictures.

You would have to add a new phrase, there are instructions on how to do that in the articles section

Installed. The only thing I want to comment on is that the staff.php page shows full birthday's even if the listed members have chosen to only show their age via their UserCP. Not a huge problem unless they absolutely want to hide that information. Any way to fix this?

When I add a custom field to the template only admins can see the contents of it. Any ideas? We would like EVERYONE including guests to be able to view the meet the staff page including the bio field.

First, extract it.
In the Upload folder, upload via ftp the staff.php to your forum home.
Go to your admincp/Plugins & Products/Upload Product.

First: I've got http://forum.ih8mud.com/staff.php loaded, but I'd like to have the script ONLY show the Primary Users for that group, and NOT show the 'Additional Users' (I have many 'additional' mods that should not be included, as well as 'hidden' admins and supermods)

Second: I'd like to have a separate install/file for JUST the Vendor users so members can go to http://forum.ih8mud.com/vendors.php and see only that usergroup listed....this usergroup would NOT be shown on the staff.php listing however.

Actually it only works on the default skin...not my my default custom (works on 1 of them) skin weird. Everything shows up just fine on the default (vb skin) but nothing shows on the defualt custom.

I only have Admins selected to show and it's displaying another usergroup with thousands of users, thus, completely bogging down my browser until the script finishes - or I leave the page (if I'm able to)

A suggestion:
We have an Admin account which all admins have access to. It's not one particular person - is it possible to create a field to NOT show certain ID's?

To fix the "Last Post" issue, I went into the staff.php file and changed lines 288 & 289 to the following and that worked for me. I hope this helps.

The way it worked out for me was that the groups set to show in "Show Leaders" showed up initially, and when I altered the setting you are referring to, that is when the links at the top of the page showed up. Not really sure if it is supposed to behave that way or not, but it works.

yeah I have it like that. but when you go to the actual staff.php I don't want all the other usergroups showing up like in the forum leaders page. I only want the selected staff usergroups I have selected in the staff usergroups setting.

Is there a change or any hints for editing how the usergroups show. I like having admin, senior mod, moderator but I don't like the grouping of everyone at the bottom.

I'd like to nix the large moderator group at the bottom and list the forums moderated in the first listing of each staff member.

There seems to be a problem with age field.
It display (http://www.eugenol.ro/forum/staff.php)erratic year (copyed from one account) , some have what they actually have in CP some don't.
I have updated my year in my CP and then most of them receive the same year in birthdate. I delete the year in my account and most of the accounts reverted to that odd year.
For the moment most of us have 1979. Maybe it was a good year :D
Any idea where I should look? I will test more to see if I can understand more of what is happening.
I mention I have a custom field with pull down menu displayed in postbit not in Staff page.

I don't know if anyone else has ran into this issue but if you running a photo gallery or external software with Vb then the navbar links will not work properly within that program. I had to insert "../forum/" in the Plugin Manager "Meet Or Staff Navbar Link". This might be a good feature to set it up for the default plugin Hasann.

It went between the Usercp and the Membership list. You can disable the navbar plugin and put it anywhere you want if you know a little about editing the navbar.

I still am having the issue with the Fatal Error though. It seems to have something to do with a hook though because if I disable the hack in the plugins and just access it thought staff.php it works.

Uninstalled everything, removed field isstaff, removed all files from /forum and sub folders, re-upped all files from 3.2, reinstalled 3.2 Ok, but:

1) Not showing options in ADMINCP to choose staff groups; the only settings that shows it's in attachment image;

So I was going to give this a try - I uploaded staff.php and imported the file however I have looked EVERYWHERE in the admin area and cannot locate any link to set this application up. Does anyone have an idea where I find the link to set it up?

Ok so I updated it and now it looks like something is wrong with the phrases for the menu in the Admin CP, and also when I go to the meet our staff settings nothing comes up except the setting group drop down and save and reset buttons.

It looks like it's just missing a comma before the COUNT part of the select statement. Did someone try just addig in the comma and seeing if the error goes away?

Thanks Lynne, that made the page work, but now for some reason the moderators aren't listed when I click on the "moderators" link in staff.php. Only the admins are shown. Yes, I already added the "moderators" group to the staff usergroups in the options.
Any idea?

edit: I found out what was causing the problem and fixed it: the "moderators" group was not set as the primary group for moderators, so they didn't show up in the staff.php page. Now I have one more thing to adjust... Is there any way to have both the admins and moderators displayed on the same page? There are only two admins and 3 moderators in my board, so it would be nice to have them displayed on the same page.

Problem is...staff link in vbadvanced Community menu is not working...even after adding staff.php to navbar replacements in Global Settings for vbadvanced.

Anyone else having this issue?

Works fine from the forum navbar, but not vbadvanced.

Update...

Well...in order to fix the issue, since nothing else was working, I had to edit the product xml and use the full url to the staff.php page. After editing the product url and re-installing the product (allowing overwrite)...all's good to go.

It would be great to be able to limit the members to be included within the listing. For instance, I have an administrator account used only for automated posting and content which I do not wish to be directly assigned to my personal account. I do not, however, wish for members to identify this "bot" as an active administrator. Ideally, this could be achieved by having a defined list of member numbers to include or exclude. Alternatively, defining a usergroup would suffice, as a staff group could be created.

Ok, found the problem. I had to activate the show forum leaders function in vBulletin.

So far, everything works great. Only problem is, that users with secondary usergroup dont't show in the list. We have moderators with secondary usergroup "moderators". The group shows, i can see how much moderators are in this group but none shows up.

Re-read install instructions, you are missing something.
Also, check the Meet our staff settings in your admincp.
