New Post/threads

Ok I'm going to try and explain this the best I can!

Is there a way once a new post/thread is made it will have a little icon next to it automatic blinking letting ppl know a post/thread is new since there last time on the board.

or

How vb.org has it where all new post are bolded and once u read the thread it is un-bolded.

This is enabled by default. Well, sort of. I dunno about the blinking. But different styles have different ways of letting people know there have been new posts. They usually figure it out without having to flash stuff in their face.
