View Full Version : Style Problem - Image Path for Icons?

Hey everyone,

I just created a new style for my forum. All is going well except I can't find a way to make my new style point to a new icon image folder I made for it. When editing a style in the "All Style Options" area, it has a bunch of places where you can edit the paths for certain kinds of images, like buttons, statusicon, reputation etc. However, there isn't an area to change the path for the "icon" images (smilies etc.).

Anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks a lot!

Smilies are managed via the Smilies Manager.

Hmmm, well it's not just the smilies, it's also the default paper image that shows up for posts. I need to edit the actual image path for the icons.

If you can, go here, http://www.infiniteguitar.com/forum/index.php. And at the bottom select the IGTest2 skin. I'm working on editing the images right now. But you can see that the thread icons are still pulling from the darker skin's image path.

Look at the Post Icon Manager.

Hey Dismounted,

I'm checking out the Post Icon Manager etc, however I'm still a little lost as to how to apply a set of icons to a certain style. Even if I create another icon category in the Post Icon manager, how can I point that category set to a particular style?

Thanks for your help, I'm a newb with this.

In a nutshell - you can't. AFAIK.

Yay! Found a fix in this thread: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=140358&highlight=post+icons

The replacement variable worked everything out perfectly.
