Can someone please give me a run down and or some tutorials on what to do step by step and understanding what ur doing step by step in uploading mods to the public_html/forum/ folder
Seems like every mod I want to use says upload the files into your forum folder and just import the product BUt doesn't say which files to upload. and how and where
And i get ones that say this Installation instructions
1- Upload .htaccess to forum root dir
Also everyone says use a "FTP" where can i get a free one and how do i use it. I'm very new and im tired of asking for help in the mod threads and getting very little responses for supported mods!
I would really like to know what I'm doing and understand it! ANY ANY ANY help from everyone would be greatly appreciated!
