You waited a whole 4 hours before bumping? If a moderator can't infract another moderator, just get an admin to do it.

I'd probably even take the moderator position away from a moderator who was breaking a rule anyway.

I guess we just don't understand the question then.

In default vbulletin, there's no such thing as "VIP's", so you must be getting these from a modification? If so, you would probably be better off asking this question in that mod's thread, because out here we have no idea what you're talking about.

At any rate, you really need to rephrase the question, or just ask it in your own language.

I have a couple subforums with moderators and no, those subforum moderators don't have infracting powers. The best they could do would be to write a super mod or admin to do it for them. But I think buried in the settings somewhere you can give forum moderators those powers.

Here it is: In AdminCP>Forums and Moderators>Show All Moderators>edit . It looks like they can ban users but not infract them.

He means VIP as in a Paid Subscritipion which gives them there own sub forum which they moderate. How can a moderator infract a VIP when they are technically a mod because they mod their sub forum.

If that is what he means, then he is breaking the vBulletin License Agreement (http://www.vbulletin.com/order/license_agreement.php). This sounds like sub-selling/sub-leasing.

But IIRC, the Moderator usergroup is on par with users who have been added as moderators for specific forums. Therefore they can't infract each other. A Super Moderator/Admin should be able to though.
