HTML Enabling

If I enable HTML in a forum, and then make my post, can I then disable HTML in the forum, and the original post will stay as it should?

Basically, I need to post an IFRAME in a Sticky, then I can disable HTML again - if I can't disable it now without the post staying the same, is there anyway round this?

I don't really want to leave HTML enabled.

No, well, it will, untill it gets removed from the post cache or you edit it.
