1. is there a way to have forum specific emoticons? I have some adult themed emoticons that i dont want anybody to be able to use outside my adult forum.

2. is there a way to mass delete messages left in the visitor message area?

2. I don't think I have seen anything like that.

1. There is at least one modification around here (I know Chris M had one in the 3.5 section).
2. Are you wanting to mass-delete as in deleting threads?
- If so, at the top of the forum where you see Last Post Replies Views and a drop down arrow, click on the drop down arrow and choose Select All - (unselect any you wish to keep) and continue doing so on each page. Then when you are satisfied, at the bottom of the forum under Moderation, select Delete Threads (or whatever is appropriate) and click Go. Posts work in a similar fashion.
