Hi.

Before I buy my vBulletin license I'd like to know if porn forums using the vBulletin system are allowed.

Thanks. Only serious replies please.

You need to ask this on vbulletin.com, not here.

anything is allowed as long as your web server provider says you can...

when you buy a license, you are invited to identify your forum and give a description of it... it is indicated in that form that no adult forum will be advertised in the vBulletin directory... this is the only restriction you have...

there is no possible legality that would stop you from buying vBulletin for porn or adult content.. the restriction you have is in the illegal activities... having porn is not illegal... distributing that porn to young persons IS illegal... so if Jelsoft identify your site as having illegal activities in the inside of the software, you will be put into reserve and your license revoqued.

btw Paul, if you do not want to answer Pre-Sales questions, close this forum

Last time I checked you were not in charge of vb.org, I think we will make that decision, not you.

I think what Nex was saying is why have a forum for pre-sales questions if you are going to send them to the com instead of answering what the forum was set up for? Doesn't make any sense, Paul.

For this question, vBulletin.com is the best place to ask. That goes for any queries regarding T.O.S and use of license.

Our pre-sale forum is intended for prospective buyers who have specific questions regarding possibilities of extended vBulletin. :)

It's a pretty cut and dry question if you ask me.

a cute and wet question would mean nothing in this season, isn't it?

Discussion is not really needed between whether or not this belongs here. The original poster was directed to vBulletin.com for various reasons. Closing.
