I have custom forum ICONS on community forums located here (http://forums.consolecommunity.com/), but i'm unable to find a suitable mod which works, which allows you to have different icons for Unread and Read ICONS. If anyone can help, or point in the right direction. many kind thanks!
Using VBulletin 3.7.1

Just replace the default vBulletin ones with your ones. vBulletin (by default) has three icons - one for read, one for unread, and one for a locked forum.

Yes, that's fine for one icon, but i have different icons for each forum (18 ICONS total). So how would this work?

You will have to modify the modification you used to display individual icons to deal with this.

You don't need any modifiications to do this in 3.7.1...
Give your custom icons diffierent prefixes such as forumX_ then enter the appropriate prefix for that forum in the Forum Manager.
Prefix for Forum Status Images
(This prefix will be used on status image filenames for a forum, it must contain A-Z, 0-9, -, _, . and /)

For each of your forum icons, change them to add a prefix like forum(ID_here)_ to your image names (in the beginning). Then as Wayne has stated, go into Forum Manager -> Choose the Forum You Want -> Edit and set the Prefix for Forum Status Images to whatever you added before the name.

Wooooo, i'm going round in circles with this, I think i'm just totally thick and oblivious to the correct way of doing things. I'm still not getting the desired effect, infact i'm getting no effect at all!
