I feel so stupid... (request)

How would I go about having the text in signatures display with <smalltext>? I tried adding it to the area where ___________ is but that ended up displaying the < and > of the HTML.

I'm also trying to edit how the sigs are displayed, I want to change the font display and I want to us
<hr size=1>
instead of the ___________, but it just prints the HTML in the page
