Hi guys,

I have tried using image verification, reCAPTCHA and even question and answers but NONE of these are showing up on registration :S

I even asked my host to enable GD and he says it is already enabled. None of the verification methods are working and bots keep signing up to my forum. I have also tried installing the NoSpam mod but this doesnt show up either :/ Any ideas?

Try reverting your templates and disabling all your modifications.

Try reverting your templates and disabling all your modifications.

I can't exactly do that since all of my templates make up my forum and is part of my skin, if i do that, i'll practically lose half my forum lol.

Test it with the default skin and see if shows up. If it does you will need to update your custom skin.

Hiya, i just tried that and i'm still not getting anything. I added a new skin and called it default wiith NO PARENT STYLE and tried registering again with image verification enabled. It didnt work. Tried question and answer verification. Didnt work and even tried recaptcha and that didnt work.

Look in your register template (AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Default Style > Edit Templates > Register Templates > register) and see if there is a variable called $human_verify (you can used the find function at the bottom of the box). Is it present in the template?

Try overwriting register.php with a fresh download from vBulletin.com any luck (with the default style)?

(Also make sure your modifications are all disabled)

Have you checked the settings for those in the vBulletin settings to make sure they are set accordingly?

I have the 3.0.7 version

any way to add $human_verify in the register?

These exact features are most likely not implemented for 3.0.x. However - is there not already CAPTCHA in 3.0.x? (Sorry, I don't remember much from 3.0.x.)

There may be a modification for Q&A Verification for 3.0.x, have a look in the modification forums.

This might be a time to seriously consider an upgrade to 3.7/3.8, as 3.0 has been End-of-Life for a while now.

Hello, I'm facing the very same problem. Tried everything that has been suggested in this thread. Were you able to fix it by any chance? If so, could you share your solution? Thanks.
