[how to] Turn off auto thread subcribed?

Is there a way in admincp that allow me to turn off thread auto subcribed? my members' emails got flood for this. Thanks.

Users set this themselves via the User CP (Edit Options).

Is there a way to disable the "Auto Thread Subcribed" so that members do not have to untick that option manually?
