Some of my members are having problems uploading some pictures to their albums in 3.7.1 and I can't really figure out why. It seems to dislike .bmp's, which is fine, I guess. But it's also been doing it for some .gifs and some .jpgs. I don't see anything in the ACP that allows me to toggle which types of images to allow.

Thoughts?

Is that the exact error message?

Can you attach 1 of the problem images in this thread?

Yes, that is the exact error message.

What type of error picture do you want? .bmp? .jpg?

Here's a bitmap. (I can't find a jpeg right quick.)

Hello,

This issue can be caused by the file extension (.gif for example) not matching the file type. This can be caused by creating the file extension when saving the file when it is being created or downloaded or changing it from the default extension for the file type.

Kind regards

I'm not sure if this applies to the picture that I was using or not, but it's an answer.

Thank you Kerry-Anne and Marco.

That was also my first guess, but the image attached normally on vB.org, so still a bit confused about this.

It attached fine to another forum I'm on, too.

I dunno.

Does it also give problems when you have disabled all your modifications and try on a default style?
