Moving vbulletin from root

I need to move vbulletin from my root to its own folder called "forum" - Im presuming it will just be a case of creating the directory and moving all the files from the root into it, however - What can I do to redirect people to the forum when they click on a link from a search engine? Once its all moved, theyw ill get an error page if I dont put some sort of redirect on.

EG - Anyone clicking on a link in the search engine that was:
http://www.mysite.co.uk/showthread.php?t=588&p=598#post598

will be redirected to
http://www.mysite.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=588&p=598#post598
