Setting thread as link?

Is there a way to set a thread as a link? so when my user's click on a thread it takes them to a different place?

why would you do that?!... logically, you can set a forum to be a link, but why a thread?!

There is a event on the callender and it has all the information for the " roster " of people who are attending via the RSVP mod.

When people click on the thread " Roster and Signup " i want them re-directed to the event callender.

I was going to use the mod that was made way back when but its no worky on 3.7 so... This is the only other allternative.
