DB problem. Please help.

Hello

I have my site DB backup only. The person who was providing me the server closed down his service and he no longer will be providing the server for me. SO i made a backup of my site. I downloaded 2 databases of the same site. But now both of them gives error when i extract them. I have the databases in GZ format and when i extract it by using winrar it goes until 95% and after that it gives me an error says file corrupt. I really need help with fixing this problem. I think the databases i downloaded two times has not been fully created. Can someone please help me with this problem?

I've gotten around this using Cygwin's native tar program, and unpacking files that WinRar doesn't like using a standard 'tar -zxvf whatever.tar.gz', or with gzip, 'gunzip -q filename.gz'.

(I believe that's the gzip syntax).
