Why won't it let guests post?

I just want to let guests post to a certain part of my forum. Permissions enable this, but clicking 'new thread' brings up the registration page.

Where did you enable the permissions? In the usergroup or in Forum Permissions? And what do you have under vboptions > Human Verify Options > Verify Guest Posts? Do you have the new messages set to be Moderated perhaps?
