I want to add some info before the doctype in my forum
So far i have only found the doctype in FORUM HOME DISPLAY and FORUM DISPLAY
If i edit these two files to add my code in will that cover all pages in my site?

What are you doing a search on? If I search for "$stylevar[htmldoctype]" in my templates, I end up with a huge list of templates.

If you only want to edit some, then think about the pages you mostly go to on your site and make sure to edit those pages (index, forumdisplay, showthread, etc.).

Well, do people come to your site just to look at the forums listed on the index page and on forumdisplay or do they actually go read the threads? I know on my site, showthread is much more popular than just the forum index pages.
