Adding a javascript header

How would i go about adding a javascript script to my header (i've edited the "header" templates in my chosen skin) but the javascript nav bar isnt appearing?

Help?

It doesn't appear in the source code? Or it isn't working how you want it to? If the javascript is in the source code, but the navbar isn't working, then your javascript is probably incorrect.
