View Full Version : Help me with Avatar Upload Problem!

Hey guys, can u help me with this problem. Whenever I try to upload an avatar from an url, other than pre-uploaded files in the server, it shows the following error, as the picture below.
In short, i cannot use links fro avatars. Only avatars in my server is available!!

maybe they have hot link protected there images

Go to Admin CP > Maintenance > Diagnostics > Upload and see what that test says.

i did as u said lynne. the results are in the attached image.. pls help. avatar prolem stil not solved. look at the top of the previous screenshot, it says about some error in line 270, of class_upload.php.

a url to test would help.. but when try to register this what it says..
Your invitation is either not valid or has already been used.

Is your temporary directory full? Or are the permissions not correct for it? Can you upload attachments? or Profile Pictures?

lynne i checked whether i could uploads attachments. there was an error. check the attachment below. pls help, my users have started to complain about having to use default avatars :((

It looks like you are trying to upload a .txt file,

This will not upload unless you go into your attachment settings in the ACP and create a new attachment type and call it txt.

In vboptions > Image Settings, what do you have set for your Image Processing Library? And do you have images showing up under vboptions > Human Verification Manager > Image Verification Options > Image Verification Library?

I'm kinda out of ideas on what the problem is. Have you posted over at vb.com about this? Maybe a fresh set of help can figure it out.
