How much of my site do I create in vBulletin?

This may be a stupid question, but here goes...

I want to use vB for my forum, but the forum is just part of my site - I also have photo galleries, news pages etc. I need to know whether I can create those other pages within the vBulletin software, or do I need to create my site in html, and then 'link' to vB just for the forum.

I'm looking for the simplest way to set this up - as you can probably :confused::confused::confused:tell I'm a newbie.

There are ways for your to integrate most things into vBulletin using APIs and other features. But, detail and code cannot be provided until you purchase a license.

I need to create 100-200 pages that are not part of the forum - I'm just wondering whether this is 'too much' to do within vB, and they should be set up separately.

I will be purchasing the vB license either way, I just really don't know the best way to set the whole site up.

What kind of pages would these be? If they are just 'pages' (static) there are several CMS's that are popular within the vBulletin Community (vBAdvanced CMPS is a huge modification). If they are 'dynamic' and mostly based around each other, it shouldn't be too hard.

Most of the 'non-forum' pages would be static, some video players and photo galleries but the rest would be text and updated frequently.

I want a consistent template across the whole site, so the ideal would be create it all within vBulletin if possible.

There are several out there that could accomplish what you want. Some of them being:
vBAdvanced CMPS (as stated earlier)
vBDrupal

And I also believe there is another one posted around here somewhere.

Logician's Web Templates (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=103076) works perfect for this also. I use it for all my extra pages on my sites.
