Thank you very much.
Thanks, I first thought this would auto translate (using google translate or something).
However, it's totally not that, but still very useful, thx.

Why releasing it for 3.6
Because vBulletin 3.6 is the minimum required version.

Because vBulletin 3.6 is the minimum required version.
Hi,
but that is not the Way it is usually handled at vb.org.
Normally a Hack is released at the highest Version it works with a Hint in the Description that it still runs under a lower Version.
It is a little bit confusing for vb.org Users and a lot of 3.7 Users are scared to test/install it that Way or dont look at Hacks that are installed in the 3.6 Section. ;)

It is clearly stated in the first post that this is for vBulletin 3.6 and 3.7
Unfortunately, vBulletin.org does not allow to set multiple vBulletin compatibilities, so 3.6 section is the right choice.
End of Discussion.

Your Hack your Decision. But i guess that you will get more "Installed" if you move it to 3.7! I only found it because i saw this Hack on the Startpage of vb.org and i knowed it before. The most are not longer take a watch on 3.6 Hacks. The worst Thing is that you hit 3.6.0 and not 3.6.x in the Menu. ;)

Why the buzz? 3.7 is just a few days older than 3.6 :D I will keep 3.6.10 for a while...

If people would learn to read the first post of a hack, a lot of questions could be avoided.

That is not the Problem - if someone is searching for Hacks with a 3.7 vBulletin there is normally no need to read the first Post of 3.6 Hacks.

I usually check the 3.6 hacks first as a lot of them will work with 3.7 and haven't all been upgraded yet. Plus, when you run into something like this the first time, then you should be ready for it the next time.

Me the same - but remember - we are vb.org Users for a long Time and we know this. The most don?t. And as you know - the most Coders are uploading their Hacks in a Situation like this for both Sections. I don?t want to blame Andreas - i only want to help to get this Hack shared more efectly.
As you can see today there are only 22 Counts for Installing it - at 3.7.x Section i guess there can be much more - maybe up to 100.
@Andreas - thanks for editing to 3.6.x. ;)

You mean, Andreas, right?
One thing you get to know about Andreas is his hacks usually work between versions, unless there are major changes, and then he will usually update them.

This is definitely a great hack for those with non-English native languages.
1 minute installation, easy to use and the best thing, can translate a Product in a eye blink, just amazing.
And the good thing, it works like a charm on 3.8.0 !!!
Here goes my contribution and in fact I did it to test this mod. Portuguese Translation for this one.

Once exported the language in .XML of the specific product, how do I import it on another board with the same product? I have this error when trying:
"The file you attempted to import only contains phrases and none of the settings required. You will be unable to make a new language with this file."

It does but there's only one issue. I've been testing 4.0 since its first Beta and every vB update they updated a lot of phrases. If you use this mod to translate and correct updated phrases, those ones won't go out from the updated phrases list, you know, when you "Search for Updated Phrases" and will need to update them again.
But all the rest works great.
all what we need is a confirmation from the coder (Andreas) that we could use this without any issue.
Thank You

Well, nothing has changed in regards to the language system since 3.6.0, so there is really no reason why it should not work - in fact it does work just fine for me on 4.1.7 and 4.1.8
If it "does not work for you" it would be helpful to know exactly what errors you are getting.

1. This works just fine with 4.2.1 (L.E. now on 4.2.2)
2. This tool is to help you translate phrases within vBulletin and it's addons
3. The translations from first post are ONLY translations for this addon PTT not for all vBulletin. For that you can search on vbulletin.com to download and install your native language into vBulletin (if it is translated).

It depends on code. I use some mods that was written for vB3.6 (not sure what year was when they written, but it could be checked if need be). I have two boards at the moment, one on 4.1.12 and one on 4.2.1.
vB5's the one that changes everything, not vB4.

Hello Andreas,
Any chance to make this addon works also for vB5.
I have changed the positioning of files and I can use it. The only problem is that is not redirecting back after saving phrases. If you like I can PM you the ACP access to fix it and maybe then to release it here.
Thanks!
