Is anyone running vBlogetin on vBulletin 3.7?

Our forum is currently running vB 3.6.8 and vBlogetin 1.0b3

We'd like to upgrade to vB 3.7 but vBlogetin compatibilty is our concern/

Thanks!

If you have questions/problems with a modification or style, then please post in the thread (or support forum/board) about that modification/style. Best chance to receive a reply from either the author or another member using the same modification/style.

I dont think vblogetin has a support thread - its a commercial product afaik.

Yes it is a commercial product now. It used to have a thread here but I can't find it. I'm guessing it got pulled when the product was sold back in February. Since then the vBlogetin site has been offline while the "transition" is completed.

Should I post in a different forum?

It is the authors responsibility to have means of giving support to the users of his work.

If the modification is released on vB.org, then this can be done in the release thread. If it is not released on vB.org, then the author would need to provide alternative means to get support.

Thanks. I've opened a ticket. Hopefully they will respond.

It would be nice to hear from someone who is running their vBlogetin on 3.7 though.

Maybe you should read this:
http://vblogetin.com/

On 25th February 2008, the rights to vBlogetin, including the vBlogetin.com website, domain name and backend systems were acquired by Concordia Enterprises Ltd, a UK-based new media company.

During the transition phase, the vBlogetin.com website will be temporarily closed.

Once the transition has been completed, the vBlogetin.com website will be updated with further information.

So it seems that the original coder is no longer in charge of the hack.

I got a response within hours of opening my ticket. But can I share here what they told me? Marco?

If you are unsure if it is suitable to be posted, then please sent me the text in a PM first and i will have a look at it.

Sorry. I didn't get an email notification for this thread and forgot about the issue. There's been no further email from them so nothing to offer right now.
