Make visitor messages count towards post total?

Is this possible? Whenever a user comments another in their profile it counts as a post made on the forums, hence, adding to the total amount? :)

Was this ever resolved? I've searched for a solution to add Visitor Messages to a user's Post Count but haven't found a solution. I realize I'm probably overlooking something but any help is appreciated.

I have not opened Social Groups for use, do messages posted there count toward a user's Post Count? If not, is there a modification or solution otherwise available?
