borrowed header with a logo that does not even have a link with your site...what did you think, having a complete off-topic forum with no identity, taking a logo that have nothing to do with the site name...
domain name not related to any significant site... if you read the domain and then the header logo, you say "that guy sicks"... i think i will contact the guys at http://fuseboxradio.podomatic.com/ to tell them you stole their logo to make your own identify... they will laugh a bit too... i will contact the guys at http://www.badijala.com/ too because you stole their images too...
you think you look serious here?!.. start over!

my friend kiril is good friend ok, he liked putting that logo and style on board so are you going to report kiril then, and i paid him 100$ to do that on my board
nexialys
05-22-2008, 12:24 PM
so your good friend stole you ?!
it's you who will have to report him, because he stole your money... he used the elements of someone else's site to make your site look that bad... come on...

i do not mind having a stolen style and logo look on my board
nexialys
05-22-2008, 12:28 PM
for 25$ you would have a decent style like here: http://vbskins.com/
...
and for you, stolen logos is not bad... funny... you may not be older than 12, like your username indicate...

i think you have no idea about the definition of respect here "bob"... copyright infringement is lack of respect... so accepting to have copyrighted logo on your site is a violation of it...
anyway, thread reported.. .this is obviously not something welcome on this site.

Lol bob12, i suggest you shutup. I agree 100% with nexialys of what he has just said to you. It looks to me you have wasted your money buying vB because it looks like you know nothing about vBulletin. The way you have set your site up makes as tho you have done it in 5 minutes with no vB-Experience. I think you should learn a little more about vBulletin and website development before opening your website. You can't just start a website, without planning it. It looks as tho you have just thought "I know i'll make a music site" No offence but if i into music forums, personally your site wouldn't be the first site i would go to. I think you should just watch your traffic stay at an amount with 1 user online everyday. The site is uglay as hell you steal other peopels work and put it onto your site tbh your site is retarded. And i hope you get shutdown for stolen propety.

I like my board ok and kiril did not steal anything

i think the Princeton university dictionary have a different definition of the word "steal" than you have...
take without the owner's consent (http://wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=steal); "Someone stole my wallet on the train"; "This author stole entire paragraphs from my dissertation"
anyway this is just fun...

I think kiril asked the owner permission first

Lol bob12, i suggest you shutup.Hmm. Uncalled for? From the way it sounds, this guy paid someone money for a custom skin and got ripped off. Which makes him a victim, and not a suspect.
Now when he says that he "doesn't mind" having a stolen logo / graphic on his site, then that's where he is wrong. But that's not up to me, you, or anyone else to decide. That's up to the original creator of the stolen work.
Seriously. Don't just jump into this topic just to be an +++++++. That makes you look extremely foolish.. Unless that's what you're going for? If that's the case, then, https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/02/1.gif

i wouldn't have paid 10$ for the job he have done with your site...
i'm not attacking you, you asked for a review of your site, and make you face what your site is on about... you have a stolen logo, and an ugly style...
1- never use someone else's identity to make your own... it's the same as using Microsoft's logo and say "i'm not related to Bill Gates at all"... use your own brain if you want to have your own identity.
2- browse the net to see if someone is offering custom style for the budget you have... your friend is not a friend if he accepted the 100$ without having a single sense of design and respect on anything...
3-... never put the blame on your friends anyway... you are the one who accepted the result.

stick to the subject at hand - reviewing a site
if a style/logo is stolen please report it to the owner of style/logo; we are not the copyright police

Just two minor recommendations I have to give, since I have no comment on any copyright stuff, nor any expertise to know who stole what from who:
1. It's a bit difficult to know what your forum is about, since it suggests general discussion but has a logo which would suggest music or something. Basically, a bit of description on the home page is needed to say what the forum is all about.
2. Longest domain ever, and for a general forum, it seems to have nothing to with the domain, since the main website is totally different. If it's for your main domain site, I'd say update the forums to reflect the style and such. If not... possibly get a domain specifically for that forum.
3. Get a new logo which matches the colour scheme at the topic.
4. Get some new smilies? You have very little for a general discussion type forum...
5. You have 6 totally dead boards lying around, so fill them with some content. Basically, start posting in those unused ones, since the Boiling Point! and Forum Games forums shouldn't be too hard to start lots of topics in...
