I was looking for something for my members where they could go into there usercp and put in there clan tag (example: POW) and from then on my name would be [POW]bornoffire . Any way this could be made? It would also be cool if this tied into the social groups. So a clan could make a group and everyone in that group would have the clan tag for that clan in front of there name.

I'm thinking you could create a custom profile field, and then modify your postbit template to include this new profile field in front of the username so that it appears like a clan tag.

I am not talking about in the postbit but in front of your name. So it will be [FillInBlank]BornOfFire

you can set this in the Usergroup feature by Forward Markups etc.. just put
[CLANTAG] in that field and make the usergroup called clan members with same permissions, and then hit enter it will automatically display there clan tag without them having to register to the forums with the tag in, it will display this on posted posts, replys and who is online box.
