how do you make it so when your making a post or thread and your adding images that it just shows the link and not the actual pic until your done and click post

Perhaps you are looking for: vboptions > Message Attachment Options > View Attached Images Inline > No

when click the image thing to put the link in it shows the pic as well i just want it to show the link just like on here when i put this image up

Ah, so the image tag, not attachment. I'm not sure about that - I'll let someone else take a stab at this (you may want to do a search in the mods sections - tons of image mods over there).
