Ok I have just finished putting in the <input type="hidden" name="securitytoken" value="$bbuserinfo[securitytoken]" /> in the template that I am trying to use. But when I try to edit posts I get Invalid Post specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator. What could be the problem? Please help me out.

Did you accidentally remove the input line that passes the postid? You added the above as a new line, right?

Ummmm I dont know about the postid.
But yes I made the securitytoken into a new line.
Could you show me a screen shot of the postid so I know if I removed it or not?

You didn't say which template you modified. But, you can tell by going to edit your template and hitting View History and then comparing your template to the default vbulletin one and making sure that is the only thing you added.

When you click to Edit a template you have modified, you can find the View History link right underneath where it says Title (which is under Style which is under Product).

What template did you edit to insert the security token?
What edit are we talking about? The AJAX (inline) editing or the page that appears after you click the "Edit" button on the postbit?
Does the error occur when you are submitting the form or when you are going to the page the edit the post?
