I like it, but some of my members seem to think that the style is the main style. So instead of clicking the parent they are clicking the main one and when they do this many of the images do not appear. How can I make the non parent theme non selectable, but just be there kind of to guide them in the right direction?
EDIT: Can you make a xml with just a fixed and a fluid version. Parent is just a pain in the butt.
You can disable style selection for any style. This way the style will not be available for users to select.
Styles & Templates > Style Manager > ModernBlue (or whatever skin) > Edit Settings > Allow User Selection > NO
Later Edit: the parent style should be am easy way to update both child styles (1024 and 1280 style) in a very easy way. It's up to you if you want to allow selection but keep in mid that the MAIN STYLE does not uses images for margins and header.

Thanks, nice skin.
Btw, your email is plaintext in the footer. Do you like spam so much? :)

Really like this skin, nice work!
It would be nice to have a smaller fixed version to be more compatible with users who have 800x600 resolutions without having to use the fluid version, cause I really like the look of the fixed versions :) How might I do this? (style noob)
Here you go. 800px style added :) Enjoy!

I seem to be having a problem with the logo on IE 6. I have 4 computers, 3 running IE 7 and 1 running IE 6. The IE 6 browser is the only one having an issue. All systems also have Firefox 2 and they work fine. See screenshot for example of whats happening. it has also occurred with the default logo, and on TheBlackPoets homepage as well. Could it be an issue with IE 6, or just my browser?
Thanks
Well...the IE6 it is not a very good friend with *png format. You might want to save (and change in the StyleVars) your logo. I suggest to save it as gif but bare in mind you might have some problems with the margins of the visible elements. You can combine it with the header and get some good results or you can change it to a gif wih transparency but you will need to experiment that for yourself.
P.S. - kind of dizzzy atm because of some beers i had. I hope i make some sense :)

Perfect sense :) I actually thought the logo WAS gif, not sure where the png came from...I'll edit when I get it figured out, thanks!
EDIT: That worked, doesn't seem to be causing any issues. Thanks again.
Upload your logo in ModernBlue/misc directory and change the file name in StyleVars.

Any new update for this amazing style? i hope you can update it very soon to v 3.7.2
Unfortunately I don’t have too much free time so a new release would have to wait. However, I have seen this skin on a 3.7.1 vB and I didn’t notice any issues. Feel free to test it and post here any bug you find.

Heya. I have this style installed at ATXscene.com.
One question, myself and some of my users are having trouble using Quick Reply. For some people, it works. But for the ones that experience an issue, when they click Quick Reply, simply nothing happens. It doesn't post their message, AJAX doesn't update the page.. nothing. Any ideas?

Hello,
I'm using your style "Modern Blue" for my forum (not online yet) and I like it very much, so thank you for making it available!:)
I have a question about a minor modification that I'd like to make to the template. Would it be possible to add a "decoration" at each side of the category bars, just like the one you can see in this example?
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2009/01/16.jpg
This example is not from a vBulletin template, but I used it just to make you understand what I mean.
In a word, I'd like to have two JPGs file (left.jpg and right.jpg) that would appear before and after the category bar.
I have no experience with templates, etc. so I was wondering if this is something that could be easily done.
Thanks!
P.S.:I see that the author of this template hasn't replied to any post lately, so if anybody else knows how to do the modification, I welcome your help.

it seems to be working with 3.8, but i'd like to know if this theme is still supported by the designer?
