I can enter them if I put the text them but they do not show up when responding to a post. TIA.

Can you see them using a default vbulletin style? - make a style with no parent and see if you can see them.

Can't see them at all.

I got them to work. I reloaded the original functions_editor.php file and it works. I guess the edits for Favorite Smilies mess things up. But that hack works now!
