To get it done without any size related issue or any hassle, simply create your own banner first that matches the style and with dimensions 623 X 142, rename it to dark_vb.gif and replace this /images/dark_vb/misc/dark_vb.gif with it.
Also.. it would replace just this (http://www.projekt-black.net/images/dark_vb/misc/dark_vb.gif) banner image, I hope this is what you wanna do !!

hello, im having 2 problems right now. The icon called New posts has the little box with an X on it even though, i specificly searched for the forum_new.gif icon and put it in there myself. Also, in dark_vb, if you click on both Fixed and Fluid links, you will see that wherever a new forum starts, there is a bar on top of it, where the name of the forum is located. This does not show up on my site. Even after i re-downloaded clean copies twice. And i took out everything from previous mods, and previous styles. both of these things still wont show up. please help. thnk you

If you are having problems with a downloaded style, you should post in the style thread.

These are the problems im having, i have already asked but no answetr and also, i thought maybe it was some internal problem, so i deleted everything from dark_vb in my FTP and off my site, but then when i download a brand new copy, it still didnt work.

If you downloaded a brand new copy and you are still having the same issue, I would think it is the skin. Don't you think the author would be the best person to ask for help? And don't you think the others who downloaded the skin might want to find out how to fix this also?

Well, taking a quick look at your picture and his pictures, I'd say you are missing some images. Did you make sure to upload all the ones you downloaded into the correct folder? Check your view source and see where it thinks the image is supposed to be and then see if the image really is there on your site. I think the ones you are missing are category strips and so they are most likely in the css.

Sorry, I can't help with the specifics cuz I don't have the style installed and have no idea what he did. You just need to make sure your path is correct in your CSS though if that is what the problem is.

This is the images in StyleVars. You need to ensure that the URL to the gradients are correctly linked to where you have uploaded them.
Thats if you havent sorted it out yet ^^^^
