I've been looking for this for a while, and have no idea what the easiest way to do this would be. But i'll lay out what i'm talking about:
The problem:
Spammers/bots sign up with a common theme, usually a portion of the email address is a dead give away - whatever@mail.ru or something@xxx.info etc. The only way to delete these users is to do a "search for users" and specify .ru and posts less than 1 (0 posts). Then you get your list of accounts and have to select the drop down, pick "delete user", hit yes to the confirmation scree, then hit back twice and go to the next one. Right now i just manually removed 465 .ru accounts, and 318 .info accounts manually, one by one.
The idea:
Heres 3 possible solutions i can think of that would be the most simple:
I want to do this all at once.. simple solution is a check box in the search results to "select all" then choose "delete/ban/move to usergroup".
Under the prune users give the option to search by email and post count not just join date.
Using the ban user screen, give the option to ban by a partial email address match... and then after the matches come back pull out the accounts that are ok.
Thoughts?
